Forming Intentional disciples

Using research from Shelley A. Weddell's book, 'Forming Intentional Disciples - the way to knowing and following Jesus', Stepehn Hoyland led a day of discussion and reflection exploring the basis of our Church is a relationship with Jesus. Alarmingly, most Catholics say they don't have any relationship with God. This explains much of why the church in the western world is declining in numbers and in influence. The extracts here reveal the extent of the problem as well as showing how a church which has the risen Jesus as a living and active presence can hope to be rekindled and revitalised.
