Month Flat Week Day
Date: Saturday, November 10, 2018 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Categories: Shrewsbury

You are warmly invited to this important ACTA (A Call to Action) event at St Columba’s Church Hall, Chester, CH2 1SA on 10th November (11m -3pm).

This will be a wonderful opportunity to find out more about ACTA, to meet others who want to promote dialogue in the Church, and to help take ACTA forward in the Shrewsbury diocese.

David McLoughlin, Emeritus Fellow in Christian Theology, Newman University, and longstanding member of ACTA, is our main speaker. David will present the work of Bishop Fritz Lobinger about ordaining community leaders.

Drawing on the Scriptures, he will also speak about grief and the renewal of hope in difficult times.

We will explore the implications of these themes, for our work with ACTA and in our local communities.

Registration is from 10.30am. No charge (donations welcome on the day). Tea/coffee provided. Bring a packed Lunch.

If you are planning to attend, to help us have an idea of numbers, please contact: Dave Thomas [email protected]
