Our Bishops have spoken. Following their November meeting in Leeds, the Bishops of England and Wales have issued a statement of no-change; the current translation of the Roman Missal will remain in use in spite of the recent statement of Francis restoring the responsibility for liturgical translation to local churches.

Reading the Signs of the Time
The Second Vatican Council invited all Catholic Christians to consider afresh their divine vocation, to promote the priesthood of all people, to read the signs of the times, and to live their faith here and now in an ever more intimate discipleship and love of Christ. Taking this invitation seriously, we are meeting a number of challenges today.
